When I first started cooking, I was far from an expert—just someone trying to make a meal that my family would enjoy. Being married to a Korean husband, I wanted to learn how to cook the dishes he grew up with, but I had no idea where to start. At first, I relied on simple recipes, often second-guessing myself and wondering if I was doing things “right.” But with time, trial and error, and plenty of encouragement from my family, I grew more confident. I’m not a professional chef—just someone who loves cooking for my family. Every dish I make comes from a place of curiosity, love, and a desire to share good food. Along the way, I discovered how fun and rewarding it is to experiment with flavors, especially with the versatility of kimchi. Through Table of Kimchi, I hope to share what I’ve learned, making Korean-inspired cooking feel approachable and enjoyable for anyone—no expertise required
